Black Economic Empowerment
IMT’s Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) program is structured around five pillars, which include direct empowerment through ownership, indirect empowerment through management control, skills development, enterprise development and socio-economic development.
Transformation is central to how IMT is owned, governed and run. AIH Capital, Kleoss Capital and Ditiro Capital – three highly respected South African private equity firms that are black-owned, and in the case of AIH Capital and Ditiro Capital, women-led have invested in IMT, alongside existing management and the Gert Roselt Family Trust, which continues to hold a significant shareholding in the business.
The new ownership structure creates a diversified and empowered shareholder base while strengthening IMT’s governance framework and providing broader access to strategic expertise and long-term growth capital. Existing executive leadership remains firmly in place, ensuring continuity of strategy, customer relationships and operational excellence.
The investment reflects strong confidence in IMT’s experienced leadership team, proven operating model and long-term strategy to become one of Africa’s most trusted integrated productivity and safety solutions partners.
Our empowered ownership structure supports IMT’s transformation credentials in a meaningful way. In a sector where B-BBEE compliance, supplier development and operational performance carry real weight, having an ownership base that reflects genuine inclusion strengthens IMT’s relevance as a long-term partner.
